About Home – Aboriginal art from NSW

The Home Program is a series of workshops, virtual excursions and a teaching and learning program for primary students culminating in an exhibition at a regional art gallery. Home is a partnership between Wiradjuri community, Wagga Wagga Art Gallery, NSW Department of Education's Arts Unit and the Art Gallery of NSW and connects schools to local Aboriginal artists, community, language and culture.

Virtual excursions

Virtual Artmaking Lesson with Wiradjuri Artist Karla Dickens

Students participating in the Home program developed by The Arts Unit and The Art Gallery of NSW were joined by artist Karla Dickens as she guided students through making an art work as well as talking about her exhibited works 'A Dickensian Circus' and 'A Dickensian Country Show.'
