This course provides professional development to assist teachers in engaging student learners in visual literacy and film making in the primary school setting. The study of visual literacy, film and digital media is integral to the NSW English Syllabus K-10 and pertinent to the Creative Arts and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education Syllabuses. This course was developed to support primary teachers in NSW public schools to provide students with the skills to understand, reflect upon, internalise, judge, critique and create digital media.
