The Plain English Speaking Award has been providing a platform for senior students to speak up about the issues important to them since 1978. Speakers deliver a prepared speech of 8 minutes as well as a 3 minute impromptu. In 2020 the competition went virtual with speakers delivering their ideas over zoom from all over the state.
Various activities for The Arts Unit programs have been temporarily suspended for the foreseeable future to support efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 and maintain the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.
