Schools are invited to upload student dance, music, drama and visual arts works and activities that have been undertaken by individuals, groups or classes throughout the year.
Show off your students creativity and enjoyment as they explore the theme of ‘Found Objects’.
Applications close in Week 5, Term 3.
If you are having trouble uploading your images, videos and/or sound files you can also email these to artsinitiatives@det.nsw.edu.au as an attachment once you have completed the submission form.
We are hoping lots of students, classes and schools get involved and we look forward to sharing the amazing opportunities and work being done by students with disability.
Have fun!
If you are looking for inspiration, why not try one of our Creative Classes or Art Bites. The links for these can be found at the bottom of this page and you will find lots of explicit teaching instructions, examples and ideas that you can share with your students. Don’t forget to look in the teacher tab for the lesson outcomes and links to the creative arts curriculum. Every art form is covered and many lessons explore all art forms so that a project based learning program can be explored.
The Connections Program provides a range of inclusive teaching, learning and performance opportunities in dance, visual arts, music and drama.
Throughout the year we will be offering arts projects and programs that invite students and their teachers to create their own works based on a central theme. Schools and students will then be invited to showcase their work.
The 2021 theme is ‘Found Objects’.
This program is open to all students with disability and their teachers.
To keep up to date with what is on offer in 2021 please complete the registration form on The Arts Unit website.
