This Bite takes students through the basics of lighting and its effect for the stage including a focus on colour, shape and shadow.
In this module we take what we have learnt in the previous two lighting modules and now work with an actor in the space to see how we use lighting to enhance performance. We also consider how to combine effects and lighting moments into a design vision for a piece.
In this episode we will cover the documentation and communication of lighting designs, discussing lighting plans, cue sheets and the role of the stage manager.
